Here’s What Our Clients are Saying
Tony came out to test my Mother-in-law who is almost 96 years old. She has had hearing aids for many years, but has not been hearing well the last couple of years. She had been tested by a Medical ENT Hearing specialist and was told that she probably would not benefit from new hearing aids, plus she has always been frugal with her money and wasn’t sure how much longer she will be with us. We finally convinced her to try so that she could try to improve her quality of life.My wife and I were amazed how well she can hear now with the hearing aids that Tony from Lansdowne Hearing Aids programmed for her after customized testing. She could hear us whispering from the other side of the room with our mouths blocked so that she could not read lips. Tony also will have a few follow up appointments to make sure all is well and adjust the program if need be.We have experienced way better results and customer service with Tony than we have with a national franchise name that is well recognized for Hearing Aids. That franchise has not been able to reprogram the hearing aids they sold us to a level that she could hear well. So glad we used Lansdowne Hearing Aids as her quality of life is vastly improved.
Having Tony come to where I live was a great experience! He brings all of the equipment necessary for a comprehensive hearing test. He shows you the proper way to clean your ears and is very patient with his explanations. Upon receiving hearing aids Tony makes sure you understand exactly how to use and take care of them. I may not hear like a 21 year old (maybe a 30 year old), but it is wonderful to be able to converse with people and understand what they are saying.
My family had been telling me for a long time that I needed to have my hearing checked. I ignored them until my son told me that there is a proven connection between untreated hearing loss and early onset of dementia in older adults. Tony responded to my inquiry right away and, during the pandemic, came to my house with his equipment and tested me at home. Needless to say I do need aids and now find that going without them is akin to not wearing my glasses. Bottom line, I would rather see AND hear.
